  • Silly, silly mama

We are home from the doctor's. I am pleased to announce that I am simply crazy and Emily is doing fantastic.

He commented once again that but for her "zipper", you would not know she was a heart patient. Those were the words I was longing to hear. Her o2 was 97, which is normal for her and all four chambers are functioning just as they should.

He is unsure what might have caused her pale appearance and her shortness of breath that one evening, but it wasn't her heart!!

We go back in a year unless I have another scare, but knowing that it all still looks so great is enough to ease my mind. He feels pretty strongly that at the next visit we can even extend the check ups to every two years.

Thanks for the kind thoughts!! I am going to bed. I feel terrible.
