Five questions
These were asked by der_lila_stern (Sarah). This is actually take number two. Xanga ate my first one. UGH!
1. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?
I am a really simple kind of person. If I could live anywhere in the world, I would be in Ada, Oklahoma. My dad's family lived there and he used to take me up there every summer. Those were some of the best memories I have. We always talked about buying some huge piece of land and building a log cabin. I would love to make that dream a reality for both my dad and myself.
2. What would you call your best CL/Goodwill find?
Hands down it would be Caleb's Gator. He had been asking for that for over six months. I told him Santa would bring it before I realized it was over 300 dollars. There was no way I could afford it new. I looked and looked and finally found one in perfect condition. They wanted 40 dollars for it. Santa made my little boy very happy.
3. What do you dream of for when you no longer have children living with you?
Sleeping. After that Matt and I dream of traveling the world. I so want to see Nepal before I die, so that is on the list.
4. If you could buy anything for yourself right now, what would you get?
Something totally impractical for a mom of eight children. I want a midnight blue 67 Stingray. There is no place for carseats. LOL
5. Who has had the biggest influence in making you the person you are today?
Without a doubt; my dad is the first person that pops into my head. I wish that every child could have had a dad like mine. He was amazing with how he taught me how to love unconditionally. In his eyes I was absolutely perfect. I also have to mention my mother. Her influence on me was in teaching me how not to mother your children. I pretty much take everything she ever did and know that is the wrong thing to do. My kids are told they are beautiful every single day. They are told how smart they are, how proud of them I am, how I know that I am the luckiest mom on the face of the planet to have these wonderful children. I am far from a perfect mom, but my kids are absolutely my whole world.

Fun! I like your answer to number 4. I think I would've listed an awesome double stroller which is what I really want right now. LOL I can't even think of something that doesn't involve kids!
Go ahead and send me a message. I'd love to participate!
@christygraves@xanga - Great...I will get the list off to you this afternoon. I already had a double stroller so the car was the next best thing. LOL
Mmm, Corvettes. I prefer the '69 Mach 1 Mustang or a Boss one. That is definitely one car I want to own before I die.
I had better be getting a ride in that car...
Jim and I want to do something similar to what you want in Ada. Only we are aiming for the boondocks of PA. I have told him for a long time that I would be happy in our little house with no land if we had a place in the mountains!
