The loons...a series
After a converstation with my wonderful MIL yesterday; I am seriously considering putting this stuff in book format. She swears I will have to claim it as fiction because no one will ever believe these type of people exist. I am here to tell you; oh yes they do.
The kids finally made it home yesterday around 3. H was supposed to bring them home following a meeting with the unemployment office. Her "meeting" was at 8 which meant the kids should be on the road no later than 10. Matt text Jake around that time and is informed they aren't leaving until 1. He was not amused.
He did spend some productive time on the phone with the child support enforcement office. They have been given her new address and the heads up that she is filing for unemployment benefits. They assured Matt that they were actively pursuing her and would put an immediate wage garnishment on any monies that she had coming in through a new job or the unemployment. They also casually mentioned that they had filed the necessary paperwork to suspend her drivers license.
I can't wait until she gets that particular notice. I really hate finding joy in this, but that hag has caused us so much turmoil over these past seven years, I really find it difficult to not find happiness in all of this.
She was kind enough to not only keep the children a day longer than the visitation agreed to, but she also sent them home with nothing but dirty clothes. This is pretty typical, but I learned just this morning that she had a washer and dryer in her new apartment. There was no reason not to wash the clothes, she was just being the loon she has proven herself to be.
My best friend and I have decided that this family has just never made the necessary break when it came to Matt. They still seem to have this idea that they have control over him and that he should cower at their every word. They view me as their own personal nanny whom they can give orders to as they wish. I take orders from no one and Matt is MY husband, so back off.
Anyway, I am on a personal mission to keep my house spotless, so I am off to finish some chores. Eight days until my trip. I really hope that it goes as well as I plan. Have a great day!!

Wow, she is a crazy lady.
Where are you going on your trip?
@Blessings_of_Motherhood@xanga - My son is graduating high school. We are heading to Arkansas for the cermony. We are staying in my hometown (Dallas) for a few days before and after, so I am very excited.
No drivers license? I think that will end up bad for you as well. I can just see you driving the hour to her place to drop off the kids and her not being there. Not that she actually drives to come get them anyway...
I think every state has their own Dallas. There is one in PA. Weird.
When you finish with your house, I have a (freezer full of) margarita(s) waiting for you to come clean mine!
@der_lila_Stern@xanga - You had me at margaritas. LOL
H won't let a little thing like lack of a license to keep her from driving us crazy. Pun intended.
@gwacemom - lol.
