The good, the bad, and the puppies!
Puppies seem to be doing fine this morning. They ate about every two to three hours last night, so I am one tired mommy. Matt started that dangerous habit we all have and began to research bottle feeding puppies on the internet. He is now convinced we are going to kill the puppies because it seems so complicated. It is complicated and it does take time, but I am committed to making sure Bella did not endure this nightmare for nothing. She left here with her puppies healthy and by goodness; she is coming home to healthy puppies.
I have made two calls to the vet and am still waiting for them to return the call.
I realize that they are busy, but I just want an update on my Bella. I hope to still be bringing her home today and I really hope that she can help me feed these puppies. Okay, covered the puppies and some of the good. Onto other things.
Graduation was yesterday and it was a lovely ceremony. Jake's speech was great even though we could barely hear him from where we were sitting. I finally stepped out from under the covered area and found the sound carried much better out there. H was there front and center (literally) while the rest of us sat as far back as one could sit without being in the parking lot. The problem was; I had to make sure Jake and Whitney were dressed. I had to get Caleb and Emily dressed. I had to dress as well and go pick up the flowers and balloons. H just had to drag herself and Josh and Liz out of bed. She had a clear unfair advantage, but I don't care. I know who they were seeking out of that crowd and it wasn't her.
Okay, from top to bottom; Matt and Emily hanging out waiting for the thing to end. Isn't he absolutely gorgeous?
Jake with the most awesome grandparents and inlaws in the world.
Whitney being her gorgeous self.
Me and the mini me. Okay, it has to be said; that outfit makes me look huge. I seriously am not that big.
Me and the beauty queen. No, she isn't wearing her amazing flip flops. They were in the car.

That takes care of the good. You guys ready for some bad, or utterly ridiculous?
H calls last night. The doctor had put Josh onto this extremely mild medication. With these kinds of meds; it takes anywhere from one to two weeks before it has built up into your system and you can see any changes that it might have made. Josh took his first one on Thursday morning. ONE and that is all. According to H; he is having a horrible reaction to the pills. He was; gasp; hyper and refused to go to sleep on Thursday evening until almost midnight.
I am still waiting to hear what the adverse reaction is; that is totally normal behavior. Had she said he was zoned out and lethargic; well okay then. Hyper and a pain; do you have a point? First; there is no way that ONE pill had anything to do with his behavior. Second; he has a tendency to be hyper and disruptive; hence the reason we are seeking out treatment. Freaking idiot. It has been decided to not start him on his medication until he is back home with us and I can adequately note any changes in behavior. Something that I had suggested prior to him starting it on Thursday, btw. H is all about the drama and she will have him convinced the meds are making him behave this way when in reality; this is the kind of behavior that sent us seeking help.
Okay, puppies have been fed and I am working on trying to clean up a bit. Emily has decided that crayola is totally appropriate all over my television screen so that is my cue to get out of here. I will update when I get Bella home. If you don't see me much; it is puppy time until we figure all this out, so they are my priority.
Have a great day and be kind on the pictures. I was tired and stressed.

Ffffft. I want to look that good while tired and stressed! Where are the dark circles? The unkept hair? The skirt tucked into panties??
@filtered_sunlight - LOL, I was too busy focusing on the frizz that has become my hair. I don't know what was going on with it, but it was not doing what is should have been doing.
I love that picture of Matt and Em. They look so adorable! That picture makes it completely obvious that Whit is your mini-me. LOL!
(Was someone taller than you taking the picture of you and Whit? Whenever Jim takes pictures of me, I always look terrible because he is looking down at me. Or at least that is what I always blame it on. LOL)
@der_lila_Stern@xanga - LOL, sadly, no. It was my MIL (not the wonderful one in the picture; the other one) and she is shorter than me by a good six inches. Maybe that is the problem. LOLOL
I've never met a fully grown person 6 inches shorter than me, so I wouldnt know how that affects pictures! lol But we will blame it on that!!
@der_lila_Stern@xanga - Oh wow; she is only 5'1" and I am 5'7" so 6 inches is about right. I say that was to blame; totally.
@gwacemom - Im only 5'2". I know some people who are a few inches shorter than me. But 4'8" for a fully grown person is pretty darn short! lol.
