  • Insert cute title here

I seriously considered calling this "Would it be okay to beat my disabled child?", but I was afraid someone would miss the sarcasm and it would end up on the front page.

I am trying to get the house organized once again. Just prior to the kids coming home I had sort of lost my hand on the house. It wasn't bad, but when you have seven kids; organization is key. H picked up the three for a weekend of school shopping (oh who are we kidding; she picked them up because her grandmother was having a party and needed some slave labor), so I decided that this would be the perfect time to get things back under control.

Aside from the fact that I have absolutely  no energy and am thinking it is time for a check up to find out just what the heck is going on with me, I have done fairly well. The kids left early yesterday morning and my intentions were to take Whitney school shopping soon after they left. I forgot that Whitney lives in a totally different time zone we like to call "Whitney Standard Time". She didn't want to go until late in the day. I hate doing things late in the day, I am far better first thing in the morning. I had put off doing too much around the house thinking that I could take care of that this morning. With my energy level like it is, too much and I simply fall down. I decided to go this morning instead and try and salvage the day by cleaning. It didn't work so well.

I pulled myself together and just took her shopping yesterday afternoon. I figured that would leave me totally free today to clean. She did really well and we were in and out in about two hours. This morning I woke up knowing that there was much to do and I had to run with it while I had the energy. My room, dressing room, and kitchen are now clean. The kids bathroom/diaster area is also no longer in danger of being condemned.

It was when I headed to the living room that things started to take a turn for the worse. Emily and Caleb were in there and I knew there would be a battle to see how quickly I could pick things up before Em had the chance to mess them up. Her basket of books is always her favorite place to play. I place all the books neatly in the basket and she promptly pulls all the books out and scatters them everywhere. A good time is had by all.

So without further ado I present you with why I wanted to title this "would it be wrong to beat my disabled child?"

Yes, she has taken all the books out and thrown them all around the room. She then decided to be entirely too adorable and sit in the basket drinking from her toy cup. (Sigh), she is lucky she is so damn cute.

    Have a good one!
