Birthday wishes
Today is Alyssa's 12th birthday. I am going to bake her cake this afternoon and then it is spaghetti for dinner. She still has not gotten the whole idea of choosing what she wants for her birthday dinner. When there are seven children in the house, dinner out is rare anyway. Having the power to choose the meal is something reserved only for birthdays. The others have learned to use this power in many different ways. Josh will without a doubt pick something that everyone else simply hates. Jake will be diplomatic and try and accommodate everyone. Whitney will only think of herself, and Liz will fall somewhere in the middle. Caleb always wants McDonalds so he doesn't count. Alyssa just hasn't grasped the power she holds quite yet.
I would like to say we are doing something amazing for her birthday, but cake and ice cream are pretty much it. She is just too old for a big party and since she just moved here, she only has two friends that she hangs out with. They are planning on coming over for a sleepover this weekend. I hope she enjoys her first birthday in CA. We shall see.
Short but sweet today, really busy not getting anything done.

Happy Birthday my sweet Sunshine. I love you more than you could ever know!!

aww, wish her a happy birthday for me!
Happy Birthday Alyssa!!
There is nothing wrong with small birthdays. I like my birthdays better that way!
My sister was always pissed for my birthday because I always picked pot roast with carrots and potatoes. She hated pot roast! And then she (1 week later on her birthday) always picked lasagna, which I also love!
Happy, uhm, belated Birthday, Alyssa!
...I'm so brain dead at this point in the night that I can't think of anything else to say...off to bed...
Happy Birthday Alyssa! Best wishes!
I hope Alyssa had a good birthday!
