A misunderstanding
Earlier I was sent a rec for a blog. Imagine my surprise when I go and discover my sweet Emily's picture posted on this persons blog. I don't know this person other than seeing his name in passing on others blogs. I just want to clear a few things up. He has gotten Emily mixed up with another child that is quite ill. Emily is fine, she is the picture of health, and the picture being used is over two years old. You guys have all seen it, it is the one taken just after her open heart surgery. The picture below is not the actual picture displayed on the other blog, but I wanted to put this one in so that we can all clearly see Matt in the picture. Matt is my husband, Emily's father.
I do not think that there was ill intentions behind the use of her picture, but because it more than creeped me out a bit, I have put all of my pictures to private. Yes, I realize the irony of my using a picture for a public blog, but oh well.
There was no explanation given with the picture, so unfortunately, it left some with the impression that this was a recent photo. This picture was taken on October 26th, 2007. Emily is almost three and doing wonderfully.

As you can all see; she is the picture of health. I apologize for any confusion that came from the use of her picture without my knowledge or consent. No, I will not identify the blog in question because I really believe this was an innocent mistake. I just wanted to clarify the picture for those that happen to read both blogs.

@der_lila_Stern@xanga - LOL, nope. We all love hearing Emily go "mmwhaaaa" after the kisses. I didn't post that one before because Emily was doing that weird bang pull back she does.

@gwacemom - that because that kid has more hair than the rest of the family combined! lol
@der_lila_Stern@xanga - LOL, I know. Her hair is unreal and has been since she was born. It is almost to her little butt. Too cute. Whitney says she has side bangs without even trying.
WTF. Are you serious?! That's insane. I completely understand why you put all your pics on private. Although I am interested to see this other blog. I love the second picture you posted. Suuuuuch a little beauty queen. I wear the t-shirt you gave me all the time and get so many compliments on it, it's unreal. I feel like I see Emily on a weekly or bi-weekly basis just wearing my shirt. haha! People are freaks, though. Sorry you had to experience this unfortunate occurence with someone posting Emily's picture on their blog. :-/

aww i havent seen any pics of you guys! Glad to put a face with the name though! :) she is beautiful and im glad she is in perfect health! :) if you ever feel the need i would love to see more faces with the names your always talking about! @tootlezbug@xanga - I really need to put some pictures up. I have gotten a bunch of new readers over the past month, and I know that often they don't know who in the world I am talking about. I will work something up and post it in a few days. LOL, all my outrage over the pictures, and I still put them up.
The second picture is of course Emily and with her is my oldest daughter Whitney. Next to me, Whit is Em's biggest fan.
